How to get the LP Token address for the LP Breaker Tool

If you already faced the issues that an LP provider website, where you created some Liquidity Pool Tokens, is not reachable anymore, you understand why RugDoc created the LP Breaker Tool for the community. The LP Breaker Tool will help you to split the LP Tokens back into it’s underlying pieces of single tokens.

For example if you have LP Tokens for USDT / DAI Pool you will receive the underlying USDT and DAI Tokens.

But as you might have noticed on the LP Breaker Website you need to enter the LP Token address, so I want to show you the fastest way to get this address from your MetaMask wallet.

Open the MetaMask an choose the LP Token #

Open the MetaMask Wallet and scroll to the LP Token entries in the “Assets” tab. Choose the entry you want to get the address for. If you don’t know which entry is the right one, don’t worry! We cover this in the “Identify the right LP Token entry” chapter. Let’s learn the essential steps first.

Click on the LP Token entry #

When you clicked on the LP Token you have to open the menu by clicking on the 3 dots on the right side. In the new menu choose “View Asset in Explorer” to open the LP Token in the explorer.

Copy the LP Token address from the explorer #

The explorer page shows the LP Token address in the “Profile Summary” box. Copy this address and you’re ready to continue on the LP Breaker Tool website.

Identify the right LP Token entry #

If you don’t know which LP Token entry is the correct one you can click on the contract address shown in the image above. This will bring you to the contracts page where you click on the “Contract” tab and choose “Read Contract”.

Scroll down to the “token0” and “token1” sections and click on each address. This will shown you the underlying tokens of the LP Token Pair.

As you can see, in this example the chosen entry is a DAI / USDT LP Token.

Break the LP Token #

Now you can paste the LP Token address in the “Enter LP Token Address” field of our LP Breaker Tool. The use is free, you will only pay the normal transaction fees.

With a click on “Break” the process will start.

After clicking on the “Break” button the MetaMask window should pop up and you have to sign the transactions.

Congratulations, you have successfully split your LP Token back into it’s pieces. You should now see the single tokens in your wallet.

    • Hello Surasi,

It seems you are referring to an LP located on the Binance Smart Chain, on KaoyaSwap (KALP) to be more specific. Is this correct?
Unfortunately KaoyaSwap has been reviewed by our team and is labeled as high risk:

??? Contains HARD RUG code that can steal staked tokens at any time ???

?PancakeSwap fork with migrator code intact?

⚠️ Masterchef not behind a timelock.
? Owner can change the reward token, so regular withdrawals can be blocked. Use emergency withdrawals in case of failed withdrawals.
? Router contract is behind an upgradable proxy, meaning contract logic can be changed at the whims of the owner. Liquidity is held directly in the router rather than in liquidity pair contracts (as usual). ⚠️ Admin proxy is an EOA.
? The list of tokens has been removed both to make a swap and to add and remove liquidity. So it makes it difficult to operate through the website.

It is highly likely that you won’t be able to get your funds back from the LP.

  1. Will you support ETHW network anytime soon? me and couple of friend got rugged by minerswap.fi

    willing to pay if succeed

    • Thank you for your request! We now support ETHW in the LP Breaker Tool.
But it seems like the LP token you provided is an unverified contract, so maybe breaking will fail.
Good luck! Donation address can be found on main page ?

*Paid Advertisement. Not financial advice. RugDoc is not responsible for the projects showcased here. DYOR and ape safu.

Our mission here at RugDoc is to screen for hard rug code that results in 100% theft of ALL underlying funds for ALL participants.

This is the ONE part of the due diligence process that most people cannot simply do on their own as it costs thousands of dollars to hire a senior solidity developer to look over a farm for safety.

A project coin with terrible code can go up in price, and a project with good code and a good team can also go down in price.

Do NOT use our ratings to refer to your likelihood in making money if you invest in the project. They are ONLY in reference to code safety.

Everything else beyond code safety is YOUR responsibility to go do research on. We just make sure the casino you’re betting in won’t rob you before you even get to place a bet.

Our reviews for projects are organized into a few colors.

🟢 Least Risk
These projects are the least likely to hard or soft rug. Usually reserved for cornerstone projects of an ecosystem where it makes no financial sense for them to rug in any manner as they make more money just being legit.

🔵 Low Risk
These projects are usually established projects in an ecosystem that have a track record of success or have KYC’d to us or other authoritative sources in the real world. As a result, it is extremely unlikely for them to soft rug or hard rug their projects. The projects can still fail and the token price can go down, but usually more as a result of natural market forces.

⚪️ Some Risk
This is the default rating for projects with unknown teams but have code that is unlikely to have hard rug risk. Since the team is unknown and doesn’t have a track record of success, it’s entirely possible that they may try to soft rug by dumping tokens, abandoning the project, etc. Even a last minute contract swap to a malicious contract is possible. The only thing that is unlikely is a complete hard rug as long as you are 100% sure you deposit into the contract we review.

🟠 Medium Risk
Similar to Some Risk, but the underlying code itself is custom enough or complex enough that it warrants an elevated risk rating that needs deeper research. Make sure you read every point presented to make sure you’re comfortable with that before entering. Still unlikely to hard rug, but more chances of custom code behaving incorrectly and causing other issues.

🔴 High Risk
Project contains code or practices that are HIGHLY LIKELY to lead to catastrophic losses as they are right now. Make sure you read the description carefully as we will always warn what these issues are. If you see the words Hard Rug anywhere in the review, STAY FAR AWAY!

⚫️ Not Eligible
We reserve the right to not review exceedingly complex projects that would require tens of thousands of dollars of senior security analyst man hours. Typically these are projects that deal with leverage, lending, options, derivatives, and anything that is overly complex and which requires tons of peer reviews and audits from top audit companies.
